It’s a type of Insurance, where you can get insured with less premium. But it has no cash value, you wont get any money at end of the term. It gives protection to your dependents and your family. In india we have numerous insurance providers, here you can get a glimpse of term plans being provided by indian insurers.
They simply cover the life of the policy holder (insured) and do not provide any maturity or survival benefits. Nor do these schemes participate in the profits of the insurance company. The sum for which the life cover is taken (sum assured) is payable only to the nominee of the insured in case of unfortunate demise of the insured during the term of the policy. Where the insurer survives the policy term, he/she is not entitled to any benefits from the insurance company. The premiums paid throughout the policy term may thus be treated as a cost to cover one’s life. It is for this reason that the premiums charged by a pure term plan are far lower vis-à-vis any endowment or money back policy.

History of Battery

The first battery was created by Alessandro Volta in 1800. The main purpose of a standard automotive battery is to provide power to a vehicle's starter. The three most important things about a automotive battery are its amp/hour rating, its chemistry and its voltage.

Characteristics of Battery

• Battery has two terminals: One(+), or positive and the other(-), or negative.
• Battery is the vehicle's initial source of energy used to start the engine.
• A typical two wheeler can be rated at 12 amp/hour.
• On an average, a two wheeler battery last about three years.
• Battery acid is very corrosive and will eat through metal.

Functions of Battery
The main functions of a battery are as:

• Two wheeler battery enables the engine to start with the electrical starter.
• It works as an extra power supply when the vehicle needs it.
• It is used for operating the lighting and accessory systems.
• It acts as an electrical shock absorber, protecting vital electrical components from burning out during high voltage/current output.

Maintenance of Automotive Battery

• During winter season a charger should be used to keep it topped.
• The battery should be checked to see if they are securely fitted, the cables are attached securely and the vent hose routed properly.
• When charging a battery, it should never exceed one-tenth of the rated amp-hour capacity.

Recently Amaron introduced batteries for Two wheelers. Which gives 4 yrs of warranty. Exide is there in market for quite some time, which gives warranty only for a year. Even other brands like AMCO, EPower, USHC, BOSCH, SVMF are too not provding 4 years of warranty. Amaron charges bit more than others but gives 4 yrs of warranty where no other brand in the market gives such long warranty.

So I vote for AMARON BATTERIES!!!
